Marron (Cherax Tenuimanus)
Marron take 21/2 to 3 years of growing to be 250
grams. They are grown in large ponds and fed natural feed such
as Lupins and Fish Frames. Marron are ideal for Restaurants, either
as Entrees or Mains.
Marron can be prepared and stored in the
fridge.
Serving suggestions:
3 parts Sweet Chilli Sauce.
1 part Hot English Mustard. A dash of Worcestershire.
Salt and Pepper. Marinade and let sit for 20 minutes. BBQ, Grill
or Bake.
Marron are just as good boiled and enjoyed
with a Salad.
Marron are caught and graded according to
size. Various sizes can be arranged. 180 grams to 250 grams. 250
grams and above.
